Inclusive play: for tomorrow’s generation
The importance of play and social interaction in children’s development is paramount, regardless of their ability. As leaders in inclusive playground design, we collaborate with Christelle Montreuil, a renowned inclusive design expert in Québec, and Jennie Sumrell, an experienced inclusivity teacher and trainer in the United States. Every design is developed to be accessible and usable for as many people as possible. Our priority is to enable children to socialize, grow, explore their capabilities, surpass their limits, strengthen their abilities, create bonds, live new experiences, and, most importantly, see beyond disabilities.
In each of our inclusive playgrounds, we focus on the children’s overall development—sensory, cognitive, physical, motor and social-emotional development. We emphasize and implement the seven principles of inclusive design.
